Contest of the Month
Each month we will have a different piece of Pottery to paint. In May
, it will be mugs. For $12 you will paint the mug anyway you would like
and have it finished by the last day of the month. The first week of
the month customers will vote on their favorite piece. The winner will
ge the next month contest piece free!!!!!!! Everyone will take their
piece home except for the winner. It goes on display till the end of
year for a final vote by the customers. For a grand prize of a $30 gift
certificate.
Visiting Instructor, Marchelle Bumham
She will be teaching 3 classes while she is in Spokane.
On Saturday,
May 17th 10 am to 3 pm she will be teaching how to paint Hibiscus. The
Class fee is $35 plus cost of pottery plus cost of pottery.
On Saturday
night, May 17th starting at 6pm she will be teaching Raku, this is a
must experience. Fee is $5 plus cost of pottery.
Then on Monday, May
19th she will be teaching air brushing Morning Glories. Fee $35 plus
cost of Pottery. Paid Reservation is requested.
Senior Day
Every Wednesday from 11 am to 6 pm we will give anyone over 60 a 15%
discount off your pottery that you paint on that day
Paint until you Faint
Come with your friends or family for a night of painting pottery. It
is fun and just a great time. Cost is the price of the pottery. No Reservations
required.
Clay 101
Let's get dirty.... Clay 101 is a must class in order to be able to
do hand building with clay or use the slump molds. You will learn the
basics and well as all the safety rules in order to do clay work in
our shop. It is lots of fun. Starting in February there will be one
day a week that clay comes out so you can create. But you must have
this class in order to play with clay or slump mold. Fees for this class
is $20 and that includes clay, 2 firings and glazes... This is a 2 week
course. Paid reservation is requested.
Clay 101 for Kids
Designed for kids 10 years old and older. Clay 101 is a must class in
order to be able to do hand building with clay or use the slump molds.
You will learn the basics and well as all the safety rules in order

Clay Day
is one day a week that the clay comes out so you can create. You must
have taken Clay 101 in order to play with the clay or slump mold. Clay
Price: Our high-quality white clay is available for $3.00 per pound.
There is an $8 studio fee per person per day. This covers the studio
space, use of clay tools, the slop roller, slump molds, special clay
drying storage space, a single kiln firing, and any assistance you may
need from our great staff. After your hand- made pottery has been fired,
you are welcome to return to paint your pottery with our beautiful selection
of coloured glazes and have your piece fired for an additional $5 per
piece. A fee may be applied for specialty glazes. Reservation is requested.
Jr Mud Monkeys
This meeting will last 1.5 hours once a month. This program is open
to children 5 years and older. The cost of the Jr Mud Monkeys is $25
for 10 months. The program is now full but we are taking signups for
a class starting in September.
Clay Puzzling 1 May 28 and June 4
Clay Puzzling 2 June 25 and July 2
This is a 2 week Class. Clay puzzling is a technique developed to introduce
you to the creative possibilities of hand building with clay. Puzzling
combines pieces of clay to make the final object. Clay puzzling is a
wonderful way for beginners to create outstanding work. Clay puzzling
is done in many different ways. In this class we will be working the
coils made by an extruder that forms coils. We lay coils in a mold that
will hold a shape and then the fun begins. The class fee is $30 and
that includes all your supplies and tools. You do not need to take Clay
101 for this class. A paid reservation is requested.

School Out Party
Join us as we celebrate the end of the school year and SUMMER. Lots
of free treats and a few surprises. Cost is just the cost of pottery.
